Amazon Mobile Ad Network Increases CPM on Banner Ads

In an effort to expand its mobile ad service, Amazon has announced a new promotion for app developers.

The promotion enables developers to earn a guaranteed $1.50 CPM on banner ads during March and April 2014 for serving mobile ads through the Amazon Mobile Ad Network. To qualify for the offer, developers are required to integrate the Amazon Mobile Ads API into qualified apps, as well as send the first ad request between February 3rd and April 30th, 2014.

It is important to note, however, that existing apps already sending ad requests do not qualify for the promotion. That said, existing developers can qualify by integrating the Amazon Mobile Ads API into another app for the first time. According to Amazon, the company has seen developers successfully monetize their apps, earn high CPM and achieve high fill rates since the launch of the Mobile Ads API in 2013.
