An Automated Data feed for Retail Websites

Posted on 7.19.2015

In an effort to increase automation and efficiency, many professionals leverage data feeds to replace having to manually crawl websites.

Chleworks, a creator of online efficiency tools for businesses, has announced the launch of the Chle Feed Assembler (CFA).

The CFA is a Web extractor/site scraper that crawls retail websites to gather product data which it then assembles into a feed for major U.S. and international affiliate networks. Once users sign up and declare a site, CFA crawls the site on designated days, assembles and cleans the data and then exports it to a network chosen by the user. Networks that users can send their data feed to include Linkshare, Google and ShareASale.

“With Chle Feed Assembler, you no longer need to bribe, cerce, or harass your development team to create and export a product datafeed for your affiliate program. CFA creates your feed from on-page, in-code, and in-JavaScript information to ‘auto-magically’ distribute your affiliate program product data feed to your network via ftp, email, or web browser. It’s all done without IT resources or access to secure databases. It’s quick, easy, and highly effective,” says Jamie Birch, CEO and chief debugger, ChleWorks.com.
