with Catch Notes, a free app available for both iOS
and Android phones. The app allows users to capture
ideas and experiences through photos, notes,
voice memos and location mapping. The app conveniently
auto-syncs to the cloud so that saved information
can be accessed on any device. Now
with private and shared streams, users can gather
notes into collections that are private or shared.
Google Tasks Organizer: Android
This customizable app allows users to organize
Gmail Tasks lists by syncing their
to-do lists from multiple Gmail and Google App accounts.
Tasks can be sorted by custom order, due
date, name and more. Reminders can be set for
time-sensitive tasks, and the full version includes a
calendar-style date picker, collapsible subtasks
and allows tasks to be pushed to Google and Android
calendars.
Google Currents: iOS - Android
This free application, which is available on
both iOS and Android phones and tablets,
allows users to merge magazine-like content, social
streams, trending stories, blogs and news
feeds into one app. So far, more than 150 publishers
have agreed to provide content for Currents, including
Forbes, PBS and the Huffington Post. The application
also allows for quick sharing of content and
self-adapts to different sized devices.
Salesforce Chatter: iOS
This app is a tool for staying connected;
users just need to sign up for a free Chatter
account on Chatter.com. After signed up, users
can view co-worker updates, create posts, post
photos, add comments, view documents and links,
find and follow people or groups within an organization,
view profiles as well as email, call and text
co-workers directly.
