AppsFlyer Simplifies Mobile App Marketing

Posted on 12.03.2014

Mobile advertising measurement platform AppsFlyer is aiming to simplify the way app marketers connect consumers to their content with a new technology called OneLink.

OneLink is a deep linking and tracking technology that enables marketers to use a single smart link to direct consumers to the correct destination page regardless of their device type or other variables. In fact, OneLink maintains deep linking even when consumers click through to an app store to download the app. Moreover, the technology tracks each consumer’s click path, which provides marketers with detailed attribution analytics.

According to AppsFlyer, OneLink eliminates broken links that can damage the user experience and result in lost revenue opportunities. Plus, the technology helps AppsFlyer’s ability to optimize marketers’ mobile customer acquisition funnel.

"Today app marketers need to embed a lot of ‘dumb’ deep links into campaigns because they don’t know if a user is going to open a given link on iOS, Android or the mobile web, whether or not the user has installed the app previously, and so on. It wastes time and adds unnecessary complexity," said AppsFlyer CEO & co-founder Oren Kaniel. "OneLink simplifies the process while also capturing attribution information that is critical to understanding which marketing campaigns work for a given app and which don’t.”

It is also important to note that OneLink integrates with other deep linking services. Moreover, the technology can be used with any in-app, search, email marketing, social network or other app promotion.
