Are Chinese Internationalized Domain Names The Next Big Thing?

Posted on 7.07.2014

Looking for an investment opportunity? How about Chinese IDNs?

Investing in domain names is nothing new, but if you don't speak/read Chinese you may miss out on some truly valuable domain names to add to your portfolio.

The team at TLD registry, the company behind the Dot Chinese Online and Dot Chinese website domains names (an IDN which has already seen over 50,000 registrations and are counted within the top 20 new TLDs launched to date) has released a really handy domain name research tool that will get English speakers involved in buying up these Chinese top-level domain names.

According to Domain Name Wire, a group of Chinese speakers are curating a list of available domain names that match common terms - it's all updated manually and updated daily. Users can select the ones they are interested in and check out by downloading a CSV or copy-and-paste at a domain registrar.
