Are Relationships Better in the Cloud?

Posted on 5.06.2015

In-the-know marketers are trying to convince stakeholders to invest in technology that lets them create a seamless, cross-channel experience for their customers. Knowing which to choose (and put their name behind), however, is difficult at best.

Entering the race is's Relationship Cloud, a customer relationship management (CRM) cloud solution focused exclusively on "enhancing relationships in the moment." What that means is that an auto dealer, for example, can be armed with an auto intender's event, app, mobile, online, social and other behavioral and customer lifecycle information to provide a better, more relevant experience when a potential buyer walks onto the showroom floor (see image).

There are use cases for many other industries too, like banking, healthcare, hotel, retail, travel and other verticals. CEO David Trice explains, “The Relationship Cloud provides visibility into how well the company’s delivering experiences from the customers point of view that culminates with a better understanding of a customer’s lifetime value. The cloud allows companies to build relationships while providing insight into how well they’re doing with engendering customer loyalty in this new customer-centric world.”
