Aria Systems Gets HIPAA Certification to Serve Healthcare Industry
Healthcare organizations house consumers’ most private data – everything from social security numbers to health records. This was recently brought to everyone’s attention when the second largest health insurer was hacked, possibly exposing the sensitive information of tens of millions.
To gain healthcare organizations as clients, Aria Systems, which optimizes global recurring revenue businesses, underwent a rigorous sixth-month third-party audit process to get the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability (HIPAA) certification.
Aria Systems has secured HIPAA Certification for its monetization platform so healthcare organizations can now take advantage of the increasingly popular recurring revenue model. For one (unnamed) Fortune 500 healthcare equipment company, Aria allows it to give its healthcare center customers financial flexibility to pay per use versus incurring large capital costs. Adobe, an Aria client, for example, has embraced the subscription (recurring revenue) model by allowing its customers to may a monthly fee to use its products, rather than buying the software before use.
Aria’s client roster mostly includes B2B companies, like Adobe, Hootsuite and WordPress, but is also an effective choice for B2C brands, like Advanced Auto Parts and Audi, which use the platform for their recurring revenue models.
This type of subscription billing also allows companies to predict and then bring back straying or inactive subscribers.
