Benchmarking Retailers, Brands on Omnichannel Capabilities

Shopatron recently launched its Convenient Commerce Index, an omnichannel "framework of excellence" that benchmarks retailers and brands against industry standards.

Categories that will be evaluated in the index include retail/dealer networks, warehouse/distribution center locations, customer care, order routing management, process enablement, in-store fulfillment, global available-to-promise, and sales volume.

Through a multipoint review of a company’s existing services and future ambitions, the Index plots and benchmarks an enterprise against a company's internal strategic goals, industry trends and sector competition, and could provide some useful insights for companies to help them plan for, justify investment in and navigate between customer expectations and actual enterprise capabilities.
