Big Brands Just Love their Instagram
Social analytics platform Simply Measured released its Q4 2014 Instagram study and found that engagement and brand activity have increased quarter-over-quarter for those in the Interbrand Top 100.
The study found that 82 percent of top brands are currently active on Instagram - an increase of 2 percentage points from the previous quarter and 17 percentage points from the same time period in 2013.
Simply Measured also found that, on average, posts that include another user handle in the caption net 37 percent more engagement than posts without. In Q4 2014, Interbrand 100 posts averaged 20,795 likes and comments each, an 11 percent increase from Q3 2014.
