Big Picture Job Search from Glassdoor
Recruiting marketplace Glassdoor just introduced a new job search experience and it could make looking for a new place to work a little less daunting.
Job seekers are now able to browse listings alongside company star ratings. This will make it easier for job seekers to determine if the job and the company are a good fit. The new job search experience integrates available Glassdoor ratings and reviews, salary data and even office photos into job listings for the nearly half-million companies featured on its network.
Glassdoor first introduced job listings to its popular user-generated content in 2010 and is now one of the largest aggregators of job listings in the world, and also the fastest-growing job site in the U.S. (based on unique users when compared to LinkedIn, Indeed, CareerBuilder and Monster according to Comscore 2015 Media Metrix), attracting nearly 30 million monthly unique users.
"Glassdoor's new job search is simply a better, faster way for job seekers to search for jobs and for employers to reach and connect with quality talent," said Robert Hohman, co-founder and CEO of Glassdoor, Inc. "Not only does Glassdoor aggregate the most jobs available online, we also provide a critical window of transparency into what it would be like to work at a company to help job seekers quickly evaluate if a job and company are right for them. Our new format also helps employers stand out from the competition by integrating attributes of their employer brand and value proposition directly into their job listings, which helps attract the right candidates."
