Bigcommerce Retailers Get Direct Access to Suppliers

A new collaboration between Alibaba and Bigcommerce is making it simple for online retailers to gain access to suppliers.

The Wholesale solution is immediately available to Bigcommerce’s 70,000 stores, enabling online merchants to access and purchase more than 30,000 products from about 300 of’s Gold Suppliers in China, with the possibility to expand to more than 3 million products from thousands of Gold Suppliers.

Developed by both and Bigcommerce, the custom-built application provides retailers with a unique catalog of wholesale suppliers in a secure manner so merchants can quickly find and select new products to sell online.

The Wholesale app provides Bigcommerce retailers with a variety of benefits, including a tailored search experience that enables them to browse and purchase products in five categories, including apparel, beauty, consumer electronics and jewelry. Additionally, the app provides retailers with a transparent experience, enabling them to quickly access details like pricing, availability and minimum order requirements, as well as supplier contact information and ratings. Retailers also have the option to select wholesale pricing based on fastest delivery time or lowest possible price. Plus, orders placed via the Wholesale App are backed by’s Secure Payment services, which provides payment protection to all parties.
