Bot Detection for E-Commerce Retailers

If you're going to make good decisions when it comes to your e-commerce enterprise, it is necessary to have access to accurate data. The problem is that retailers may have a skewed understanding of their visitors' behavior. 

Fortunately, there are some solutions that can bring greater clarity to the situtation. 

Namogoo, for example, recently announced it will offer its Browser Bot Detection solution for free to e-commerce retailers through January 31, 2018. The service integrates into analytics tools (including Google Analytics, Adobe, Soasta, New Relic and others), enabling Internet retailers to detect and identify browser bots that mimic real users’ behavior and ensure their business decisions are based only on true human visitor data.

Retailers will be able to see which Web pages are most impacted by bot traffic, what devices bots mimic most on their site, and gain visibility into what kind of activities bots are running on their digital properties. 

“Browser bots are getting better at impersonating humans and conducting what would be considered normal human behavior, making it nearly impossible for analytics tools to distinguish bots from humans,” said Chemi Katz, co-founder and CEO, Namogoo.

“We decided to give our Namogoo Browser Bot Detection service away for free this holiday season to support retailers in optimizing their business at the most critical time of the year.”
