Brands Now in Visual Control of Google Profiles
Google is giving business owners more control over the photos they use in their My Business profiles.
Businesses can now indicate which image they want to appear when customers search for their business. To get started, enterprises just need to visit the "Photos" section within their Google My Business profile on the Web or within the Android or iOS apps.
Photos added through the platform will be displayed on Google Search, Maps and Google+, which make it a near must-have for today's digital brands.
Google will also provide guidance for adding photos. Hotels, for example, will be prompted to add exterior, rom and common space photos, while cafes and restaurants will be encouraged to add recent menu item photos.
