Content intelligence platform Chartbeat unveiled a new feature called Offsite Social that should help publishers understand how the articles they develop are distributed on social platforms.

Powered by social media intelligence engine CrowdTangle, the new feature is essentially a real-time analytics tool that will provide publishers with greater insights into the performance of articles posted on-site and any corresponding social activity off-site.

The Chartbeat-CrowdTangle data integration surfaces real-time social activity down at the article level, enabling content creators/developers/editors to understand social behavior, take action and participate in the conversation and all from one interface.
