Buzztala’s PVAs Arrive at Amazon Webstore

After unveiling its Product Video Ads (PVAs) just a week ago, Buzztala has announced that it will now offer its search engine marketing (SEM) services to retailers using the Amazon Webstore platform.

Buzztala’s PVAs are short video product summaries that help retailers capture first page organic search positions. Plus, the PVAs can  be used as video ads to reach mobile audiences on Facebook and YouTube. According to Buzztala, PLAs give advertisers an option to complement both Shopping Ads (PLAs) and PPC text ads, while also providing consumers with a visual way to obtain product information. 

“Amazon is the gold standard for e-commerce, but merchants are always looking for ways to acquire customers more effectively,” said Jay DeDapper, CEO of Buzztala. “Amazon merchants can now utilize Buzztala’s PVA ad units to hugely improve SEM and customer acquisition campaigns and avoid wasting SEM spend on shoppers who cannot see Shopping (PLA) or PPC Text ads because they are not using desktop or mobile browsers.”

It is important to note that as a solution provider, Buzztala will help Amazon Webstore merchants create and launch PVAs for SKUs. Moreover, Buzztala data shows that the PVAs have generated high click through rates (CTRs) and have outperformed Google PLAs and Google text ads over the last quarter.
