Cashing in on Social Intelligence

In the digital age, new information is constantly being released making it difficult for any one person to stay current without any help.

Artesian Solutions, a developer of social intelligence software, has recently announced the reception of $8 million in Series B funding.

For those unfamiliar, Artesian Solutions aims to help B2B sales people by providing them with up to the minute information from various news and social media sites about their current and prospective clients. Led by Octopus Investments and Kreos Capital, the social intelligence software’s latest round of funding is stated to be used to support its next phase of expansion of infrastructure growth in the UK as well as increase their presence overseas and development of new mobile and social apps.

“Artesian has grown phenomenally over the last nine years and during that time we have developed an industry leading solution that has been a game changer in the B2B sales market,” said Andrew Yates, CEO of Artesian Solutions. “This investment, and the valuable addition of Rod Banner to our Board, enables us not only to strengthen our brand and expand geographically but also to put considerable technical innovation behind new developments that will continue to revolutionize the social selling model.”
