Cedexis Names New CEO
Companies poised for rapid growth need someone to scale their businesses in sustainable ways.
Cedexis, a provider of innovative solutions to optimize the performance of cloud-based Web and mobile applications, thinks its new CEO, Scott Grout, is that person. Grout brings more than 20 years of senior executive and CEO experience to Cedexis, which, most recently, includes being president and CEO of publicly traded company RadiSys, a leading provider of embedded communications infrastructure products.
Prior to RadiSys, Scott was CEO of a venture-backed startup in fiber optic systems, and before that spent 15 years at AT&T/Lucent where he was VP and general manager of their multi-billion dollar optical networking business.
Grout joins Cedexis co-founders Marty Kagan and Julien Coulon as the company's executive team. Kagan, who was the company's chief executive officer, will remain Cedexis’ chief technology officer.
Cedexis is backed by venture capitalist firms Advanced Technology Ventures (ATV) and Madrona.
