Clickable Integrates Facebook Ads for Social Flavor

Online ad management provider Clickable has announced a partnership with Facebook that will allow marketers to track the performances of both search and social marketing campaigns. The first live advertising solution to integrate search and social networks is set to debut on April 12, when Clickable will be adding the Facebook Ads API to its service options.

Clickable customers will be able to advertise on Facebook by integrating pay-per-click Facebook ads into the Clickable Pro management tool. Clickable Pro, launched in February, allows marketers to create and upload Facebook ads in bulk, and Clickable conversion tracking will track Facebook and search marketing revenues with a tag placed onto advertisers' websites.

The new software allows small and medium-sized businesses to compare the performances of PPC ads purchased on Google, Yahoo! or other search engines to those on Facebook by displaying customized reports alongside one another. This feature should certainly help in managing marketing campaigns across a variety of advertising platforms, and it will be interesting to see how search ads and social ads stack up against one another over a period of time.

Editor's note: Shortly after we posted this item, Facebook officially revealed its first set of partners that will incorporate Facebook Ads into their own products. In addition to Clickable, which will still be the first to integrate the API on April 12, other partners named were Omniture, Alchemy, Glow, Kenshoo, Marin Software and TBG.
