.Clothing Just Got Real

The Web moves fast, but if Internet professionals can count one thing, it’s that the savviest digital brands are open to moving with it.

The new generic top-level domains are the perfect example of business owners embracing change with 4 million-plus pre-reserved gTLDs through 1&1 alone. Now that a handful of gTLDs have launched (see 1&1’s live ticker), and gTLDs have become "real", some use-cases are emerging. 

The .clothing domain was one of the first gTLDs to be released to the public and Lorenzo Group, LTD. owner Mark Lorenzo immediately capitalized on his pre-registered domain name with 1&1 and launched his site. 

“In my opinion, this is an opportunity to be among the first to embrace a new ‘.com boom’,” said Lorenzo. “Getting my domain name gives me a unique opportunity to be on the front edge of a tech-savvy future.”

As an early adopter, Lorenzo feels the .clothing extension adds more credibility and recognition in a competitive marketplace.
