Come2Play announced the release of virtual currency Tokens for use in its multiplayer gaming network. Tokens are used for players to challenge each other on any of the games within the Come2Play network. Winners earn all tokens at the end of each game, and can earn tokens for virtual awards on the site.
Developers can create their own games with Come2Play's API, and then monetize it through the use of the tokens. Pulbishers can quickly publish games to their sites and earn a revenue share between Come2Play and the game developer.
According to Come2Play's news release, game developers earn revenue on every website where their game is played including social network applications, widgets and third-party integration.
