We're not all lucky enough to have smart and dedicated IT staff hovering over us as we hastily download every seemingly crucial piece of software from the Web. The end-result is often slow running computers and suspicious looking processes running on our machine. What's worse, when we take matters into our own hands and try to delete processes, I at least find that some are unneccessary to the proper operation of my machine.

If you're concerned about this, then check out, an extremely helpful and comprehensive database of various processes that might be running on your machine. Search for the good and bad processes and receive a very "to the point" description and a recommendation about whether or not you should remove it. TaskList is a great resource to utilize before deleting essential processes.
