Create Better Forms Today with the Quick[select] jQuery Plugin
Select boxes are essential elements in digital form design - but they can be way more elegant with offerings like Quick[select].
A major problem with select boxes is really that they take the user out of the "flow" of the form. Since it is well established that the faster we can get a user through a form the better, it's always a good idea to test options to do just that. What this plugin does is provide the ability to bring select box options outside of the traditional list format - and that's pretty cool (and something you've likely seen of late).
Quick[select] uses the browser's native select list for its overflow, meaning it will work great on all devices. The author provides two good examples - one for Bootstrap and one for Material Design Lite which shows what's possible. To get started, just download the .JS and .CSS files from Github, include them in your head tag, and attach the Quick[select] script to any select boxes.
