Customer Support - The International Language: Net Briefs

Desk.com recently unveiled a new feature that will allow companies to communicate with customers using their preferred languages. Needless to say, multilingual customer support will improve the global reach of Web companies that want to serve customers outside of their home countries. It will also aid businesses that already are multinational but struggle with language- based customer-service issues. The new offering was created for businesses of various sizes and provides automatic routing to service agents fluent in the language of choice using a system of filters and rules based on case or customer attributes. This will set the preferred languages of individual customers as the defaults for future emails, phone calls, chat cases and more. At launch, Desk.com supported 39 different languages including French, German and Chinese.
