Deliver HyperLocal Content to Consumers

Posted on 7.26.2015

Shoply Labs, which powers the Shoply mobile shopping app, has unveiled a new partnership with beacon-based proximity marketing companies in the U.S.

Through the partnerships, the Shopily app will be able to deliver hyper contextual content and promotions to shoppers. The partnerships enable Shoply to cover 300 malls, 3,700 storefronts, 1,200 in-store placements and 1,200 standalone and big box retailers. In fact, consumers will have access to exclusive content and discounts through the app from top retailers including eropostale, Ann Taylor, Kohl’s and Lord & Taylor.

“Shoply has been delivering on the promise of magical shopping experience, cutting the clutter and delivering relevant coupons and promotions,” said Founder and CEO Pala Kuppusamy. “Our users enjoy the ability to view coupons and promotions based on their preferences and location. We’re very excited to onboard beacon based proximity marketing partners that take the delivery of hyperlocal and contextual promotions to next level.”

It is important to note that retailers can submit an application to join Shoply’s Partner Program so they can create mobile campaigns that drive qualified traffic to brick-and-mortar stores. Moreover, the Shoply app is available for download in both the App Store and Google Play Store.

“Beacon deployment in the retail industry is skyrocketing, with an estimated $4 billion in mobile/beacon-influenced sales in 2015, and a projected $44 billion in 2016. Shoply is well positioned to play a significant role in mobile influenced in-store sales and in providing a frictionless experience to shoppers,” said Kuppusamy.
