The Digg community made their voices heard loudly and clearly early this morning in reaction to a decision by the site's founders to pull stories revealing how to hack HD DVD. Digg users relentlessly promoted various posts until they filled the front page of the site with the offending content and the site was temporarily pulled down. Digg has since decided to stop censoring these posts, but while there is still some bad blood in the air, I thought it might just be the right time to explore other options.

A few of our favorites here at Website Magazine are Reddit, Newsvine and Netscape. The problem (at least for us) is that these three services (in addition to Digg) don't cater specifically to the industry (the Web business industry) that we provide information about. The solution? Create our own of course!

Website Magazine is pleased to announce the release of WM Share. WM Share enables any registered user to share the related industry blog posts they find interesting, important news that matters to an online business decision makers and proven tips, commentary and techniques that you create and share it with other Website Magazine readers. The top stories each month will appear in the print edition of Website Magazine!

Registration is free and simple. We're looking to build a robust community so take a few minutes today and start sharing!
