DIY Facebook Contests from Vistaprint

One of the best ways to acquire new leads and engage your audience is through Facebook contests. However, creating and launching contests can be a time consuming and difficult task for small businesses, but a new solution from Vistaprint's Pagemodo aims to change that.

Pagemodo Contests is a new feature within Pagemodo's do-it-yourself suite of Facebook marketing tools for small businesses. The feature enables users to efficiently set up, run and track Facebook contests and sweepstakes without any coding or design knowledge required.

Page administrators can leverage Pagemode Contests to grow interactions and awareness via photo, video and essay contests, as well as reward and encourage fans by offering sweepstakes, giveaways and coupons. Plus, contests typically help a brand increase their audience base because this strategy is effective at generating awareness through word-of-mouth marketing.

Other notable features include the ability to track and analyze promotion performance and export contest entries for future marketing initiatives. Contest winners can either be chosen manually or by an automated drawing, and all contests come with “smart URLs”, which enable brands to share custom tabs via mobile devices or other social channels to increase the reach of a promotion.
