Easily Store and Manage Tax Exemption Certificates
Avalara, a provider of cloud-based tax solutions, has announced the launch of two new products titled Avalara CertCapture for Retail and Avalara CertCapture for e-commerce.
Avalara’s two new products enable users to automatically collect sales tax exemption certificates at point-of-sale kiosks and online shopping carts. The tax solutions company is able to do this by using a number of mobile devices to comply with tax laws and streamline checkout for customers both in-store and online. In fact, customers are able to enter tax exemption certificate information on mobile devices such as iPad’s as well as Galaxy and Kindle Fire tablets.
Moreover, once customers enter their tax exemption information, Avalara CertCapture digitally stores their information at a central repository where tax manager are able to pull reports and monitor expired certificates.
