Easing the Pain Points of Global Shipping

While the Internet has enabled brands to communicate and engage with consumers from around the world, there are still a variety of pain points when shipping products internationally.

Endicia, a provider of online shipping technologies and service, has recently announced its latest offering titled Endicia Global Service.

The new service, currently in beta release with immediate support for Brazil, aims to eliminate many of the typical pain points (i.e. high shipping costs, delays in customs, etc.) associated with shipping products to Latin America. To accomplish this goal, Endicia Global Service has a variety of features that small-to-midsized businesses can leverage. One such feature, same-day customs clearance, enables shipments to clear customs in as little as six hours instead of the average five day.

Endicia Global Service also enables businesses to deliver products duty-paid (meaning taxes are known and can be paid for upfront) as well as end-to-end tracking and international address verification.

“Brazil’s market offers a tremendous opportunity for U.S.-based online sellers, but up until this point, it’s been difficult for businesses to access it,” said Amine Khechfé, co-founder and general manager of Endicia. “Our new service eliminates the difficulties for sellers and makes shipping to Brazil as easy as shipping in the United States.”
