eBay and Shyp Now Coast to Coast

Posted on 3.14.2016

eBay and Shyp announced an extension of their shipping partnership into the Los Angeles market.

Through the integration, Shyp will pick up sold items within 20 minutes, pack them and then mail them directly to the buyer on the seller's behalf. eBay sellers can connect their eBay account to the Shyp app to see an itemized feed of their recently sold items. That eliminates a pretty big painpoint for online sellers. Plus, Shyp’s pickup and packaging fees will be waived for eBay sellers through June 30 according to the announcement.

Entrance in the LA market follows pilots in other cities including New York, San Francisco and Chicago.

“We’re excited to expand our partnership with Shyp to make selling on eBay even easier,” said Vincent Payen, Head of Consumer Selling for eBay North America.

“Coupled with the eBay Valet mail-in and drop-off programs, we’re continuing to provide our sellers with tailored experiences that make the selling and shipping process on eBay seamless. With access to eBay’s large online shopping audience, customers have the best chance to get top dollar for their items along with a simple way to both declutter their space and earn extra money this spring.”
