ExecTweets launched this week in partnership with Federated Media and Microsoft powered by Twitter. The site is an aggregation of tweets by top executives in various fields. LinkedIn may be the place to be for professional social networking, and ExecTweets looks to provide the same professional atmosphere to Twitter users.

Executives are divided into six categories: Government and education; healthcare; media and advertising; other; retail; and, technology. Conversations rotate at the top right under a section called "Best of ExecTweets." Users can follow executive level tweeters, as well as recommend executive tweeters. The site also provides a voting system for tweets - reminiscent of Digg.com.

The platform is currently editorial-only with no advertising because money is not exchanging hands. However, the brands are getting exposure by simply being listed as top executives on Twitter. Get your brand exposure by having a colleague recommend you at exectweets.com.
