Special offers are common place in today's market - especially for niche groups like military, teachers, senior citizens, students, etc.

In order for companies to make sure that individuals qualify for certain offers, however, companies need to have some way to verify a consumer belongs to that group or demographic.

SheerID, a provider of eligibility verification technology, has announced a record year for verifications leading to a company growth rate of 770 percent. The company works by acting as a bridge between secure databases, merchants and consumers. Companies use SheerID to verify whether or not individual users qualify for special offers.

Furthermore, in the last 12 months the company has processed more than 1,000 percent more verifications than in any previous 12-month period. SheerID has also increased their client list by 75 percent in the past six months. New clients include Spotify, Foot Locker, AARP and Six Flags Magic Mountain.

"As the retailers seek new avenues to grow their customer base and solidify hard-earned profits, eligibility verification technology has delivered measurable growth in key areas of business, and SheerID is at the forefront of this evolution," said Jake Weatherly, CEO of SheerID. "Not only have we engineered our instant verification solutions to incorporate new consumer groups, but our platform provides an omnichannel solution that enables the cross-platform retail experience that consumers demand.
