Game of Tech: Double the Players

Trying to understand all the players in marketing technology can be as complicated as a Game of Thrones season; in both cases, infographics can help identify who is in the race.

Scott Brinker released his annual and anticpated "Marketing Technology Landscape Supergraphic (2016)," which is a personal but credible approximation of the marketing technology landscape. Using a variety of sources (CabinetM, Capterra, G2 Crowd, Google and others), Brinker lists solutions in six major categories (advertising and promotion, content and experience, social and relationships, commerce and sales, data and management with subcategories included from there). While there is some overlap in categories, Brinker fit 3,874 marekting technologies onto the single slide, which is almost twice as many as last year.
