Get Into UGC with Chute Stories

User-generated content (UGC) solution Chute launched Chute Stories, a new app that will allow marketers to add UGC photos and videos that are discovered and managed through the Chute system (as well as owned content) into text-based posts or articles on a website. 

There are several possible use cases for a solution of this nature which will make the new offering appealing to brands including building how-to guides featuring product shots, developing event wrap-ups which incorporate attendee content, or curating community-contributed look-books.

“We believe photos and videos do the best job communicating your brand story,” Ranvir Gujral, Chute CEO, said. “However, we know marketers often want to do more in-depth storytelling and writing. We developed Chute Stories to allow marketers to have the best of both worlds - text posts enriched with the visual content people are sharing on social media that they’ve discovered and obtained rights to through the Chute platform.”

Chute Stories features WYSIWYG tools to simplify how marketers create and customize posts. Features include header and text blocks that can be edited live as well as drag-and-drop real-time photos and videos from Instagram and Twitter, access to an existing library of content curated through Chute, and can even uploaded owned assets.

Once a story is published, a simple line of code can be embedded into blog posts, websites, Salesforce Community Cloud sites, or hosted as standalone pages.
