GlobalOne Continues Growth with Weblinc Acquisition

Cloud services firm GlobalOne is really trying to live up to its name, stretching its business even further by acquiring Weblinc, a cloud computing application provider out of Australia.

GlobalOne took the initiative to buy Weblinc in order to strengthen its capabilities in the Asia-Pacific region and expand its prowess in the field of building and deploying enterprise cloud applications.

Weblinc has its headquarters in Brisbane, AU, but also enjoys offices in major cities Sydney and Melbourne. The company also boasts more certified Salesforce professionals than any of software company's other partners in Australia.

"Weblinc's expertise strategically complements GlobalOne's business and offers customers a deeper and broader set of cloud services from a single provider," says Weblinc CEO Paul Mansfield.

The Australian company, which likes to focus on architecture and mobility, will offer GlobalOne a plethora of designs and templetes to solve problems like revenue scheduling and complex quoting; GlobalOne plans to immediately integrate the two business' locations and leadership structure.

"Acquiring Weblinc gives us the necessary knowledge, experience and tools to create a global architecture practice," says John Orrock, COO of GlobalOne. "This new practice will take cloud computing foundation assets and thought leadership in cloud architecture to market."

This move comes hot off the heels of GlobalOne's launch of GlobalOne Mobility, which offers professional services to build, deploy and maintain mobile cloud apps for both consumer and enterprise environments. This also marks the company's third acquisition in four months.
