GoDaddy Takes On F-Commerce

Posted on 11.05.2014

GoDaddy is teaming up with Easy Social Shop to help merchants sell on Facebook.

Through the partnership, GoDaddy merchants are able to build a Facebook store that offers real-time updates based on the merchant’s catalog and inventory data. Moreover, merchants can promote their products on Facebook via Easy Social Shop’s 1-click ad solution. Instead of creating a Facebook ad from scratch, Easy Social Shop’s 1-click solution leverages the context and automatically generates the ad creative and targeting based on the product data and business information from GoDaddy Online Store.

“We’re excited to partner with GoDaddy, this is a great opportunity for our company to provide value to more online businesses and help them grow as they build their presence.” said Nissim Lehyani, CEO and co-founder of Easy Social Shop. “Our mission is to make social accessible to online businesses, by simplifying complex tasks and help them achieve growth from social, easily. We were pleased to discover that our approach is aligned with the GoDaddy vision.”

Easy Social Shop currently has more than 140,000 shops, is translated into seven different languages and integrates with platforms like eBay, Etsy, Shopify, Amazon, Wix and Maagento. Moreover, the platform allows transactions to take place at the original shop, which simplifies the sales and analytics process.

“Driving traffic and new customers to an online storefront is very important to small businesses,” said Sandeep Grover, head of ecommerce products at GoDaddy. “Our partnership with Easy Social Shop allows our merchants to easily create a Facebook store, amplify engagement with their Facebook fans, and generate more traffic and sales.”
