QUICK HIT: Google AMP Results Rolling Out Now
Google confirmed this week that Google AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages) is now rolling out in the core mobile results.
This will reportedly be a gradual introduction according to Google representatives and not everyone will see it fully yet (but now would probably be a great time to start working on that project if you're not AMP-ready currently).
Keep in mind that there is no actual ranking boost for those pages that use AMP; Google just links to the AMP version if one is available.
Again, this is only in the mobile search results and it will be rolling out slowly.
Google now has over 600 million AMP documents in its index, covering retail (e.g., eBay and Shopify), travel (Skyscanner), recipe (Cybercook), general knowledge (Wikihow, Reddit) from all over the world.
