Google Analytics Adds New Features Including Third-Party Tags
In order for companies to maximize their potential and be as successful as possible they must leverage a powerful analytics suite to understand where they can improve and where they can save money.
Google Analytics has announced the release of new features for their Tag Manager that includes the new Tag Manager API that allows users to customize their infrastructure however they see fit like, for example, managing user permissions.
In addition to the new API, Google has enabled companies to add tracking tags for more third-party sites and applications including AdRoll, Marin, Comscore and VisualDNA. These newly available tags will allow companies to quickly enable additional monitoring capabilities without having to manually change their website's code.
Among the other new features released for the Tag Manager was an improved interface with a more intuitive structure that allows for quicker completion of tasks and projects.
“We think tag management should be easy even for non-technical users. Even if you're new to Google Tag Manager, you'll be using the improved interface within minutes. Tasks are intuitive and structured much the same way as in AdWords and Google Analytics,“ states Google Analytics blog.
