Google Unveils Dynamic Structured Snippets for Search Ads

Posted on 3.09.2015

To help search marketers in their quest to reach as many consumers as possible, Google Ads has introduced a new feature called dynamic structured snippets.

Through the new feature, paid ads on Google search engine results pages (SERPs) are able to have additional text that automatically displays in search ads. The additional text “highlights industry-specific, structured information about your products and services.” In other words, dynamic search snippets help to give users more relevant information about a website before they click on its ad. At this time, the new feature will display for retail, hotel and flight searches only with additional verticals being added later this year.

“Whether it’s a list of shoe brands or the number of nonstop flights to New York City, this automated extension gives your customers a better sense of what to expect on your website before they click on your ad,” states the Google Ads blog post announcing the new feature.
