Performance-based Lead Generation – Two Ways – at Website Magazine


Each business is different – and so are the goals of each advertising campaign as well as the way enterprises go about achieving their sales and marketing objectives.

Some advertisers, for example, are in pursuit of brand or product awareness (choosing display campaigns and print ads), while others are interested exclusively in generating sales leads and marketing prospects. High-Volume Leads (Guaranteed): If advertisers are operating in a limited time frame (e.g. monthly), have a set, predetermined budget, a need for custom filter questions, and the sales staff to follow up, the Guaranteed Leads program is the appropriate option. Advertiser’s assets (white papers and resources) are promoted directly to the Website Magazine list (via the website, daily email newsletters, the print magazine and through social media) until the number of qualified leads generated has been reached, and the prospects delivered. Advertisers know exactly how many leads they will generate in the time frame allotted and can plan accordingly.

Low-Volume Leads (Non-Guaranteed): Website Magazine's new non-guaranteed program offers advertisers an opportunity to acquire leads on a non-guaranteed, rolling basis. This means that advertisers’ assets (whitepapers, etc.) are available to Website Magazine’s audience online through the Resource Center, but they are not promoted through email or social media. This results in a lower volume of leads, but not leads of lesser quality since advertisers still have access to the same audience and can add in custom filter questions. Advertisers opting for the Non-guaranteed lead program are billed weekly and only for the qualified leads generated; there are no setup or maintenance fees – just pay for leads and prospects as they are delivered.
