Hootsuite Amps Up Its Social Selling Capabilties

Popular social media management solution Hootsuite has acquired mobile app Sales Prodigy, which will enable Hootsuite customers to quickly and easily find social selling opportunities and start conversations with prospects in real-time on social networks.

Through the acquisition, sales organizations across industries, from financial services to real estate, will be able to leverage Hootsuite to efficiently source and close deals. In fact, social selling solutions can help users consolidate all of their social networks and online communities into one platform, filter out the noise via targeted listening streams, as well as track and measure success with analytics. What’s more, users can listen for the right opportunities to engage with prospects and customers, improve their understanding of target accounts and educate customers on social media policies and guidelines.
