INFOGRAPHIC: The World Cup of E-Commerce

In order to win at e-commerce, merchants must prepare a strategic game plan that takes into consideration every aspect of their brand, from customer acquisition to upsell tactics.

Recently, Baynote and The eTailing Group put together an infographic that highlights a “world-cup winning strategy” for retailers. The infographic includes data from The eTailing Group’s 14th annual Merchant Survey and provides insights into how retailers plan to win big in their e-commerce initiatives. For instance, the data shows that 42 percent of merchants have made significant investments into mobile optimization, while 30 percent have put substantial investments into omni-channel integration and 28 percent have put investments into retargeting.

The infographic also sheds light on mobile commerce, revealing that 32 percent of retailers report that mobile accounts for 10 percent of their revenue, and that three in four retailers plan to invest in mobile customer experiences.
