Instagam has improved discovery for videos on its platform, as the social network has announced it is rolling out a new look for its Explore tab that features video channels.

With the update, users will have access to a personalized channel called "Videos You Might Like" that collects videos from across the Instagram community. As users scroll through the Explore grid they will also see "Featured" channels filled with videos on specific topics.

"Even with these changes, Explore still works the same way: It connects you to posts about your interests from people you don't yet follow," Instagram says in its announcement.

Instagram also notes that the more content a user likes the better the Explore feature gets, as it adjusts to users preferences. Plus users can tap "See Fewer Post Like This" in the "..." menu if they see content they don't like. The update to Explore is currently only available in the U.S., but Instagram notes it is working to bring the feature to the rest of its community soon.
