Apple has topped a smartphone manufacturer satisfaction survey by J.D. Power and Associates for the sixth year in a row. The tech giant scored 838 points out of a possible 850 and had high marks in all areas, especially regarding ease of operation and features. Other factors that played a role in the scoring included performance and physical design. Second place went to HTC, followed by Samsung, Motorola and RIM. Additional findings include that consumers prefer phones that weigh less than five ounces and are less than .45 inches wide, as well as phones that are touchscreen only and have a high-megapixel camera.
