JangoMail Unveils SMTP Relay Service

Posted on 10.27.2009

Email marketing service provider Jangomail relased a new stand-alone SMTP relay service. The service is designed specifically for email marketers and offers open/click tracking, DomainKeys/DKIM signing and even logging and advanced email delivery.

Editors Note: An open mail relay is an SMTP server configured in such a way that it allows anyone on the Internet to send e-mail through it, not just mail destined to or originating from known users.

The new service can be utilized by email marketers using regular desktop email clients (including Microsoft Outlook, Thunderbird, and any other desktop client). It can even be used by those using Gmail. Other features of the SMTP service include SenderID/Sender Policy Framework (SPF) compliance, access to SMTP log files, API to access reporting data and the ability to group different types of emails.

"Through our own in-house research, we noticed significant customer demand for SMTP relay functionality specific to email marketers," said Ajay Goel, President of JangoMail. "Since email marketing is our bread and butter, we listened and are pleased to launch With the new site, we are poised to reach new customers in need of a reliable and advanced SMTP relay service."
