Transformative? Consumers Can Purchase Directly from Ads Now

Posted on 6.02.2015

New “ad commerce” platform XpressBuy is enabling consumers to make purchases directly from mobile or desktop ads.

The platform is built for brands and retailers that sell products online and aims to monetize ads based on in-the-moment trends and consumer desire. According to the company, XpressBuy helps retailers increase conversions, gain a better return on investment (ROI), create new sales and purchasing opportunities as well as helps customers more quickly complete their shopping journey.

“XpressBuy will completely transform advertisers’ ability to convert impressions to dollars,” said Murali Subbarao, XpressBuy’s founder and president. “In fact, XpressBuy delivers an average of six times the conversion rates of traditional advertising across marketplaces and social media – easily a majority of places where buyers are connected to the Internet and engaged in content.”

It is important to note that XpressBuy works for both retargeting and display targeting campaigns. Moreover, XpressBuy is simple to setup via a layer of functionality on top of existing e-commerce and m-commerce engines. The company also touts that it is full PCI level one compliant and has four times as many participating retailers as Facebook Buy and Twitter combined, including The Home Depot, Target and American Eagle Outfitters. When available, XpressBuy also offers a reduced friction checkout thanks to access to consumer address and card data for more than 75 million smartphone users.
