Like a Boss, Facebook Still Controls Social Login
When it comes to social login, Facebook is still the boss.
New data out from Gigya reveals that 51 percent of consumers used their Facebook credentials in the fourth quater of 2013 to sign in to services (retail or otherwise) - up slightly from the previous quarter.
Gigya also indicated that 28 percent used their Google Plus credentials (down slightly from the previous quarter). Yahoo (15 percent), Twitter (4 percent) and LinkedIN (1 percent) were also used according to the Gigya research.
The story changes slightly when it comes to mobile, with Facebook's lead in mobile logins decreasing slightly in Q4, losing 3 percent, as Google+ gained 5 percent of logins and Twitter lost 3 percent.
