Liked Results – Bing Really Likes Facebook
Much like Google’s integration of Twitter is driving Web professionals to pay even closer attention to that social media destination, Bing’s announcement today that it expanded integration of Facebook “Likes” promises to do the same.
Bing extended “Liked Results” to annotate any of the URLs returned by its algorithmic search results to all users in the U.S.
That means if your Facebook friend(s) liked a page/website/company on Facebook - that consequently you are now searching for something related to on Bing - you will see these friend FB profile pictures underneath the listing. (see image below)
Bing noted that Liked Results will not be appearing for every query just yet.
