LinkedIn Looks to Enhance its Sales Solutions

LinkedIn is focusing on its solutions for sales teams with its latest acquisition of Fliptop.

Fliptop is a provider of predictive sales and marketing software that aims to help brands enhance the effectiveness of their sales programs. In fact, LinkedIn notes that Fliptop’s technology offers information to brands to help them obtain a better return on their sales and marketing investments so they are able to invest in the right channels.

With the acquisition, Fliptop will help LinkedIn accelerate its Sales Solutions product roadmap to make the company’s Sales Navigator platform more effective.

“As the worlds of online sales and marketing rapidly converge, we believe there are opportunities to leverage Fliptop’s technology to achieve our broader goal of creating the most effective B2B sales and marketing platform,” LinkedIn states in its announcement.

LinkedIn goes on to state that it won’t invest more in existing Fliptop offerings, but it is bringing the company’s talent and technology to LinkedIn.
