Make Better Inventory Decisions

Retail price intelligence and repricing engine Wiser has unveiled a new product that aims to help sellers make better inventory decisions.

The product, dubbed Amazon Assortment, enables Amazon sellers to monitor their competitors’ inventories on Amazon and any other Web store. In fact, Amazon Assortment comes with a pricing analyst that helps retailers find the best opportunities in their product assortments. Additionally, the solution shows sellers how many other retailers are carrying the product and whether Amazon is carrying it or not.

“Amazon is easily the most competitive channel for online retailers. Not only do they have to compete with retailers of different sizes, but they also have to contend with Amazon itself,” said Wiser CEO Arie Shpanya. “That means that their assortment and pricing are extremely important. Amazon Assortment is a new tool Wiser developed to help retailers provide the right products at the right price without all the guesswork.”

It is important to note that Wiser’s Amazon Assortment solution provides suggestions as to what products are worth carrying and which ones will be difficult to sell at a decent price. It also provides retailers with ratings and reviews for products to help them make better inventory decisions. Plus, Amazon Assortment can integrate with Wiser’s Amazon Repricer solution.
