Make Digital Marketing Pop with StreamSend's New ScreenPopper

Posted on 1.19.2016

There used to be a time when a popup window would have quickly and easily sparked the ire of any website visitor. Today, however, the technique is common place and remains (for many Web marketers) one of the most effective ways to get users out of anonymous mode and into their audience/customer database.

To make popups effective, particularly those developed for the purpose of lead generation, they need to be designed in a way that aligns with (or at least does not interfere) the user experience, while maintaining the ability to efficiently perform their intended function - driving response.

As marketing becomes ever more sophisticated, however, 'Net professionals are turning to solutions that do far more than their predecessors. Today, pop-ups (forms encouraging users to sign up to a list, showcase special offers, or present sales reminders and surveys) are being designed to send a series of triggered emails and other sequenced messages to ensure people (customers and prospects) experience what is being offered by the website/vendor.

Personalizing the user journey is fundamental but creating such a system from the virtual ground up can be challenging. Fortunately, there are numerous technologies and offerings to get this important digital job done.

Email marketing service provider StreamSend, for example, just announced its ScreenPopper capabilities. The solution offers a template library, a drag-and-drop ad builder, a central dashboard (to launch, monitor and modify campaigns), and an immense amount of control over when and where these engagement initiatives are fired.
